With an open plan living-dining room, this light space creates a great space to socialise and spend time with your guests. The sofa and television are features that add to the comfortable feel that this apartment gives off. As for its natural light the French doors lead onto a Juliet Balcony where you can admire the views of the Gothic Quarter. In addition to this, there are period features found in the ceiling and architecture of this building that give it real character.

The kitchen is a compact space but well designed in order to maximise space in an orderly and innovative manner. As for what you can find here, there is a toaster, electric hob and washing machine which will give you the opportunity to stay on top of things whilst enjoying life in this beautiful city.

The first of the two bedrooms has a double bed in a room which gives off lots of natural light that work well with the wooden features. With the second bedroom having the same interior, the décor of this apartment ties together nicely. However, with a nest bed, storage is a key component of the design as the beds can be folded away and give you and your guests lots of space to keep your belongings.

The bathroom consists of a walk-in shower in a bright and clean space. The white design of the bathroom is contrasted nicely with the traditional beams that are found in the ceiling of the shower. Overall, this property is ideal for four people looking to stay in central Barcelona in a cosy apartment.

Being in this location gives you so many things to do on your doorstep. You are a 7 minute walk from the entrance of the Parc de la Ciutadella this lovely green space is ideal for picnicking as it has a couple of lakes and lots of green spaces to enjoy a day in. For those with a sweet tooth, a 2 minute walk away is the Chocolate Museum which makes for a great day trip! Also, if you are looking to spend a day on the high streets and seeing the streets full of life, then 12 minutes away by foot is the world famous La Rambla, where you can easily access the main attractions of La Boqueria Market, Corte Ingles Shopping Centre and the Plaça Reial. Here, Barcelona is truly on your doorstep, just waiting for you to explore.

The beautiful Born neighbourhood in Barcelona is characterised by its unique mix of historic sights, contemporary art and trendy styles, and is a must-visit on any trip to Barcelona. Situated just outside of the original city limits of El Barrio Gótico (or El Barrí Gòtic in Catalan), this town in the heart of Barcelona is home to some of the best attractions in the city.

The ´barrio´ takes its name from the Catalan word ´Born´ which means, among other things, a place where tournaments take place. The area is so called as this neighbourhood was once the site of medieval jousting competitions, and the Passeig del Born is where these events were once a regular fixture. Today, this street is known as the main avenue in the neighbourhood and is packed full of cool restaurants and bars.

The Born is well known for its picturesque alleys and intimate passageways dotted with hidden restaurants and one-of-a kind boutiques. The area is also home to plenty of amazing architectural gems such as the Santa María del Mar church, originally built as a beacon for sailors and fishermen in the medieval times.

A visit to the famous Picasso Museum is a must when strolling around El Born, where you will find a collection of over 4000 works housed in 5 spectacular palaces, built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Just a few steps from El Born, although actually in the Sant Pere neighbourhood, you can marvel at the Palau de la Música Catalana, one of Barcelona´s most fabulous modernist buildings.

The Born area is bordered by the Gothic Quarter, the Eixample district and the impressive Ciutadella Park, while remaining near to the Barcelona beaches.
