This comfortable four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Barcelona is located in the lovely l’Eixample district. Guests will be close to some of Antoni Gaudí’s most famous landmarks, such as the Sagrada Família and La Pedrera, making it one of the best areas to start discovering this wonderful city! From this central apartment, you can easily reach other points of interest in the Catalan capital by public transport or on foot.

The apartment can accommodate up to 8 people, with a total of five single beds, one double bed, and a sofa bed. In addition, the apartment has two bathrooms in total.

The living room and kitchen are designed as an open-plan space, providing a greater sense of room. With a double sofa bed and satellite TV, it’s the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing in this beautiful Mediterranean city. Internet connection is also available. From the living room, you’ll have direct access to a large balcony—an ideal spot to unwind with a glass of wine in the sun or to read a book!

You can prepare your favourite dishes or try local recipes in the fully equipped kitchen at your disposal.

IMPORTANT BEFORE BOOKING: ONLY reservations from families and/or guests over 25 years old will be accepted. If these conditions are not met upon arrival in Barcelona, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. In addition, the apartment is equipped with SMOKE DETECTORS AND SOUND LEVEL METERS, so smoking is not allowed in the apartment and noise must not exceed acceptable levels after 22:00 to respect the neighbours’ rest. If any of these rules are broken, AB Apartment Barcelona will withhold the deposit (if applicable).

BEFORE BOOKING: We recommend visiting the apartment so that you can appreciate it in person. Although the dimensions are clearly indicated in the ad, the photos were taken with a wide-angle lens to better showcase the space, which may make it appear larger. Additionally, please note that the apartment has been enjoyed by several guests, so it may show some signs of normal wear and tear over time.

District

Eixample is Catalan for ´extension´, meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of ´Modernisme´ architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí´s unfinished masterpiece. You will also find plenty of great bars and cafés here, too, and if you decide to choose one of the many Barcelona apartments in Eixample Derecho for your stay, you will be able to easily explore the city, due to the neighbourhood´s convenient, central location and excellent public transportation services.
