This wonderful 4-bedroom apartment located just 10 minutes from the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sagrada Familia, is the perfect place to spend a few months in the city.

The property has WiFi available, air conditioning and central heating, making your stay a comfortable and relaxed one in the heart of the sought-after Eixample Derecho neighbourhood. 

The living room is bright and well furnished, connected to a gorgeous dining area with space for both you and your guests. The living area then leads out to the balcony which is equipped with outdoor seating: the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the city.

The kitchen is well-equipped. Here you will find all the necessary utensils to prepare your meals, such as an oven, microwave, pots and pans and much more.

There are 4 bedrooms, each complete with storage so that you can make yourself at home. These rooms are comfortable and offer lots of natural light. In addition, there aretwo bathrooms complete with shower, toilet and bath.

The apartment is well located and close to all the city has to offer via public transport. The iconic Sagrada Familia, is just 10 minutes away from the apartment and the Arco de Triunfo is 16 minutes away, in the heart of the desirable El Born neighbourhood. In addition, Eixample is a great area full of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. To go shopping, you have the Encants Market and the Westfield Glòries Shopping Mall very close to the apartment.

District

Eixample is Catalan for ´extension´, meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of ´Modernisme´ architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí´s unfinished masterpiece. You will also find plenty of great bars and cafés here, too, and if you decide to choose one of the many Barcelona apartments in Eixample Derecho for your stay, you will be able to easily explore the city, due to the neighbourhood´s convenient, central location and excellent public transportation services.
