There is no doubt that this neighbourhood has been subject to one of the biggest urban expansions throughout the whole province of Barcelona. As a result, it offers itself as the perfect mix of experiencing life as a local, but with all the advantages of staying in a cosmopolitan and modern city.

Hospitalet de Llobregat is an excellent option if you are looking to have a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still with all the commodities that are offered in the centre of Barcelona. Furthermore, thanks to its great proximity to the centre of Barcelona and its excellent public transport connections, you will be able to easily access some of the most important parts of the city- like the Camp Nou, Plaza España, the neighbourhood of Sants, the Montjuïc Mountain, Sants station and Zona Universitària.

This zone is perfect to walk through thanks to its historical centre, have a drink or snack in one of the terraces of its Ramblas or side streets, visit the traditional markets of each neighbourhood or enjoy an afternoon shopping in La Farga or Gran Via 2, one of the most famous shopping centres in Barcelona.
