Just five minutes from the nearest metro station and 15 minutes walking from Diagonal Mar shopping center, with more than 200 stores at your disposal, this apartment comes with free wifi and air conditioning. It is just five minutes from the beach.

There is a comfy living area with a sofa and a TV as well as a dining table and chairs. The modern decor also reaches into the kitchen which has been finished with a stylish white wash. This space comes equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, oven, and pots and pans. The apartment is full of natural light.

There is a private balcony perfect for eating breakfast outside or an al fresco dinner along with the sunset. There is an elevator in the building and a free parking space available upon prior request.

The Poblenou neighbourhood is an old industrial district that is constantly changing: full of tapas bars, hip cafes, and the famous La Rambla de Poblenou and Port Olímpic with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops to visit. The apartment is just around the corner of the neighbourhood municipal food market, and close to the skate park, sports club, and diving centre. It is surrounded by green spaces and local parks.

District

Poblenou is Catalan for ´New Village´, and is situated with the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella on the other. Historically, the area was one of the main industrial zones of the city, however today, Poblenou is surrounded by many new developments, including the neighbourhoods of Vila Olímpica, where the athletes competing in the 1992 Olympics resided, and Diagonal Mar. The increase in new facilities alongside the town´s proximity to the Barcelona beaches and excellent public transportation services, has brought many artists and young professionals to the Poblenou.

Rambla de Poblenou is the main avenue in the neighbourhood and it is said to be a more authentic alternative to the Ramblas you will find in the city centre. It has a great ambience and is home to many fantastic bars, cafés and restaurants.

The great esplanade of El Fòrum is located right near Poblenou, though technically in the Diagonal Mar area. This area is the site of many concerts, congresses and festivals in Barcelona, creating a lively, cultural atmosphere. Choosing an apartment in Poblenou will leave you connected by metro, bus, and tram to all other parts of the city and within walking distance from some of the best beaches in the city.
