Description

This beautiful and modern apartment is located in the artistic neighbourhood of Poblenou, known for its bars and restaurants. The apartment offers everything you may need for an excellent stay in Barcelona, including amenities such as WiFi, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience.

In an open-plan space, you will find the living-dining area and the kitchen. There is also a balcony connected to the living room, allowing plenty of natural light and fresh air to enter. The living area features a sofa, TV and dining table, providing a great social space for meals and relaxation.

Next to this area is the fully equipped kitchen. The black-and-white furnishings and décor give the apartment a contemporary feel. It is also equipped with an oven, toaster and kettle, ensuring you can prepare breakfasts and your favourite meals with ease.

There are two bedrooms. The first features a double bed and provides a comfortable space for two people. The second bedroom has bunk beds, making it perfect for children. Both bedrooms continue the apartment’s modern design, reflected in the wall art and stylish furniture colours. You will have plenty of storage space for all your belongings. The recently renovated bathroom follows the apartment’s black-and-white design and offers a clean and private space.

Being located in Poblenou, you will find yourself in a quiet and safe area, while still being within easy reach of some of the city’s top attractions. Most notably, it is just a 14-minute walk from Bogatell Beach, ideal during the spring and summer months. For shopping, the Glòries Shopping Centre is only a 13-minute walk away. Finally, Parc de la Ciutadella is around a 22-minute walk away, where you can also visit the Arc de Triomf and Barcelona Zoo.

Poblenou is Catalan for ´New Village´, and is situated with the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella on the other. Historically, the area was one of the main industrial zones of the city, however today, Poblenou is surrounded by many new developments, including the neighbourhoods of Vila Olímpica, where the athletes competing in the 1992 Olympics resided, and Diagonal Mar. The increase in new facilities alongside the town´s proximity to the Barcelona beaches and excellent public transportation services, has brought many artists and young professionals to the Poblenou.

Rambla de Poblenou is the main avenue in the neighbourhood and it is said to be a more authentic alternative to the Ramblas you will find in the city centre. It has a great ambience and is home to many fantastic bars, cafés and restaurants.

The great esplanade of El Fòrum is located right near Poblenou, though technically in the Diagonal Mar area. This area is the site of many concerts, congresses and festivals in Barcelona, creating a lively, cultural atmosphere. Choosing an apartment in Poblenou will leave you connected by metro, bus, and tram to all other parts of the city and within walking distance from some of the best beaches in the city.
